Style’s Newest Neutral: Yellow Fever

Just in case you needed a wardrobe update, the runway gave it to you this spring with bold and vibrant colors, one of the hottest being yellow. Nothing says spring/summer like the rays of the sun. From bright golds to neon, yellow was seen in the masses of spring collections from Vera Wang to Louis Vuitton.
There was nothing mellow about the shades of yellow on the runway this spring. Despite its radiance, subtle yellows work as neutrals that can be paired with prints, black, or camel type hues. Save the brighter canary outfits for the latter part of summer when you have the perfect tan. For spring, go with a more subtle pastel-type shade.
Styling Tip: Styling yellow is often tricky. Bright yellow silhouettes with lots of volume are truly best for editorial or red carpet looks. So when styling this color, its best to do smaller items that can bring a look together (i.e. clutches, jewelry, and shoes). If you don’t want to dress head-to-toe in yellow, wear a yellow inspired print. Pair yellow with gold metallics and turquoise for an extra warm and summery look.

I love Yellow, different tones look great on a lot of people.
