Style Essential: Denim

Jeans and denim fabric, initially intended for work wear, have revolutionized a woman’s style in the last 50 years. Of all the pertinent style essentials, denim is by far the most functional and versatile element in your entire closet. This spring, denim got a makeover by fashion houses such as Acne to Cavalli in a lighter type hue.
You probably already have your favorite denim cut and wash chosen, but its fun to take it a step further than just a great jean. Chambray shirts are oh so sexy, and can be paired with almost any bottom. Balmain created an amazing look using a denim button down with a metallic mini. Oh so fancy! A denim dress inspired by A Détacher is another great look for spring paired with bulky Bohemian accessories and an awesome pair of platformed wedges.
Denim on denim made its come around this spring and can be worn right into fall and winter. Jeremy Scott and fashion week A-listers sported the look using button downs, jackets, and 60s inspired flares in combination. What can I say, it jeanius.
