“When I see runway collections, I’m inspired.” Styling was the way Melissa made her artistic side come to life by embodying her love for making other people feel good and look great.
To her defense, she isn’t just another “celebrity stylist” or “fashion diva.” As cliché as the word “image” is, she emphasizes its importance and its ability to help create personal style. Both media figures and every day women are able to portray a fashionably sophisticated mannerism after being styled by Mel B.
Her personal style is minimalistic yet cool. She gives an ample amount of attention to pieces that push the envelope and firmly believes that women can be comfortable & intrepid by doing the same. “It is important to realize that style/fashion isn’t about acquiring ‘things.’ It is about the appreciation for creativity, luxury, and delicious ambiguity.”
